Diana Duncan Holmes Hand-Tinted Photograph "Luxembourg Palace"
Item Details
A hand-tinted photograph titled Luxembourg Palace by Cincinnati-based artist Diana Duncan Holmes, produced in 1981. Depicted in sepia tones is Luxembourg Palace in Paris, France. The green tone of the palm tree leaves have been applied by hand. This piece comes presented under glass in a white mat and wooden frame. To the verso, a descriptive label from the Toni Birckhead Gallery is present on the bottom of the backing. The lower left corner is marked with a label that reads ‘Property of Scripps Howards Inc./ 003209.’ Hanging hardware is installed to the verso.
