Antique Oil Landscape on Canvas
Item Details
An original antique oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. The painting depicts a serene landscape. The foreground is dominated by a gently rippling body of water, and rows of tall leafy trees rise along the water’s banks. The painting is unsigned. It is presented in a wooden frame with scrolling embellishments, gold tone finish, and a hanging wire. A gilt foil sticker from Closson’s Gallery in Cincinnati is attached to the verso.
Condition
- to fair. Painting has light accretion across, discoloring pale areas of painting.
