An assortment of porcelain figurines made in Occupied Japan between 1945 and 1952. The figures are also known as ‘OJ’ to collectors. The assortment includes figurines of an American Colonial era couple, children, a French style clock, a Native American Chief, miniature vases, dogs, cats, and a miniature watering can. The figurines are crafted from white porcelain and hand-decorated with lively painted colors and many have added gold tone detail. Figures are marked ‘Made in Occupied Japan’ to the underside.
