Antique Humpback Trunk

Item Details

An antique humpback steamer trunk. Features pressed alligator print tin to the exterior with incised wooden staves and metalwork corner embellishments featuring scrollwork and acanthus leaf detailing. The hasps and latch are not in working condition. The interior of the lid is separated and features a picture of a Victorian woman to the interior.

• Please note this is located in the basement of the residence. There is access to the basement, but pieces will need to be moved up a hill to the front of the house for removal.

• Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is responsible for, and advised to bring, appropriate assistance, vehicle, and any necessary tools to pickup.

Condition

Dust noted, oxidation on the metal, scratches and wear noted throughout. Latch and hasps are not in working condition.
