A signed limited edition offset lithograph after the original 1983 watercolor by Cincinnati-based wildlife artist and naturalist John A. Ruthven (born 1924), titled River Otters. The image depicts two inquisitive otters enjoying each other’s company on a crisp winter day, as one lingers on the snowy banks of the river while the other chooses an icy dip in the water as they interact. The print is numbered 314 in an edition of 600 in pencil to the lower left margin. Title is printed to lower center. Artist signature is printed in plate and signed in pencil to the lower right. The print is mounted behind an oatmeal fabric liner with wood fillet, under glass in a beveled wood frame.
