An untitled oiling painting on canvas by Clifton, a.k.a. Zhao Huxie. It features a sparsely wooded meadow before a bright blue sky. The piece is signed ‘Clifton’ in the lower right corner. The work is set in a wooden frame with an antiqued gold tone patina. Hangs from a wire on the reverse.

Zhao Huxie graduated the fine arts program of Yeonbyeon University and later taught there as a professor. He is a 1995 recipient of the Jilin Art Exhibition Award. Zhao currently owns his own studio and creates works under the western name ‘Clifton’.
