A lovely mid century Heywood Wakefield matching rattan patio furniture set. Set includes a couch, chair, ottoman, and side table. Sofa features a bent rattan wood frame, original loose zippered cushions for seat and back, and springs to seat. Frame is constructed with three pieces of rattan wood to arms, latticed back, geometrical pattern to sides of couch and skirt, and wrapped rattan binding. Chair features matching rattan construction of sofa, loose zippered seat cushion and back, and springs to seat. Chair is marked with Heywood Wakefield stamp. Ottoman features a fixed upholstery seat, springs to seat, and curved pieces of rattan wood with rattan binding. Side table features has a rectangular shape, straight pieces of rattan wood, wrapped rattan binding, table top and shelf beneath. Upholstery to sofa, chair, and ottoman features a muted floral pattern with greens, yellow, red, and brown colors which are accented by green trim.
Condition
Moderate wear to all pieces. Several nicks, scratches, chips, and damage to wood frame. Stain to top of side table. Cushions are original and show substantial wear including fraying, holes, and fading. Springs are rusty and have popped on ottoman. Please preview for best sense of pieces.
