A selection of Hummel ‘Prayer Before Battle’ and ‘Doll Mother’ figurines. A ‘Prayer Before Battle’ depicts a young boy with his hands clasped and head down, a stick under his arm, and a toy horse by his side. ‘Doll Mother’ depicts a young girl with her hands clasped and head down, baby carriage by her side. The side of both bases are marked ‘Prayer Before Battle’ and ‘Doll Mother,’ respectively. The underside of both figurines are marked ‘Goebel, W. Germany.’
