Custom Upholstered 19th Century French Empire Daybed in Walnut

A marvelous 19th century French Empire double daybed in Walnut with tastefully chosen custom upholstery. The handsome walnut frame enjoys foliate and floral hand carved detailing at the corners. The bracket base with wide, squared feet (on castors) and the front side panels are veneered in burled wood with a raised edge.
A custom mattress is upholstered in a peacock blue and deep brown velvet dotted fabric which coordinates beautifully with the organic fabric chosen for the end cushions and the satiny stripped fabric in teal, pale blue and platinum on the full length bolstered pillows. Overall, a terrific antique bed for an office or quest room.

Condition
The upholstery is in very good condition with no sign of wear. The bed frame has a few minor scratches but would be considered to be in very good antique condition.
