Valerie Pfeiffer Offset Lithographs of Chickadee Fledglings
Item Details
A pair of framed offset lithographs after Valerie Pfeiffer. The prints in this lot feature images of downy chickadee fledglings. The larger of the prints depicts three blue tit chickadees on a branch as one of the three squawks at the others; double matted with blue and white borders, the print is signed in plate ‘V. Pfeiffer’ and titled Trio. A smaller print features five black capped chickadee fledglings on a length of blackberry vine, four of the chicks singing; this print is signed ‘V. Pfeiffer’ in plate. Both are framed in blond stained wood with protective glass. The larger print includes a wire for hanging; the smaller print has a stand in back.
