Item Details

A late 19th century flat top steamer trunk. The wooden case features a rectangular, hinged lid opening to a papered interior with a removable, two-section tray. The exterior is reinforced with metal bands, corner brackets, and wooden slats. Additional embellishments include a lock mechanism, latches, and two side-mounted, handles.
