Vintage Horse-Drawn Threshing Machine
Item Details
A vintage horse-drawn threshing machine. The horse-drawn threshing machine dates to the late nineteenth or early twentieth century, and is made of galvanized steel, with cast iron components. The thresher frame and wheels are made of iron. The wheels have flat rims and sixteen spokes. A long wood shaft is attached to a cross piece on the front, with a pair of iron braces to either side. There are two vertical iron pipes at the side, with one marked ‘Racine, Wisconsin’ in yellow lettering.
