Original Chinese Watercolor Painting

An original Chinese watercolor painting on paper signed to the bottom right hand corner by an unknown artist. The artist has rendered a highly spirited image wherein a man is wrangling a wide eyed horse. He’s got it by the reigns, but he’s only on foot, and is out matched to say the least. The painting, on paper appears to have been pasted onto mat board at some point, unfortunately, and is presented in an ample wooden frame with black paint.

Condition

The painting exhibits cracking to the top section, and various wear consistent with age and exposure. It has also been mounted to a piece of mat board.
