A signed limited edition lithograph on paper of an original painting by John A Ruthven (b. 1924) titled Moonlight Watch. This piece depicts a Native American man leaning against a tree and a fire all next to the Ohio River. The print is numbered 504 in an edition of 850 to the lower left, titled and captioned ‘Miami Indian at the conference of the Little Miami River and Ohio River’ in typeset to the lower middle, and signed by hand in pencil and in plate to the lower right. Mounted under a double layer of blue and white matting, the print is under glass in a stained wood frame. Some silver tone metal hardware for hanging, a descriptive decal, and a gallery decal are present to verso.
