A Black Forest cuckoo clock. This clock features a carved bird and leaf motif with a bird at the pediment, and two birds flanking the cream Roman Numerals and hands of the face. Two baby birds in a nest reside below the face of the clock, and two metal hanging pinecone weights are included. The clock is marked ‘Die Mühle im Schwarzwald Holzhackerbub’n Marsch 2178-96 Swiss Musical Movement’ to the label on the side. The interior of the clock is marked ‘BP A72 PL2S5 Made in Germany’.
