Keith Haring Limited Edition Print from the 1990 Publication "Against All Odds: 20 Drawings - Oct. 3 1989"
Item Details
A limited edition offset lithograph bookplate on acid-free Rivoli paper after the original 1989 gouache and black ink drawing by very well-listed American street artist and social activist Keith Haring (1958 – 1990) for his publication titled Against All Odds: 20 Drawings – Oct. 3 1989, published with the collaboration of major art collectors Mera and Donald Rubell by Bébert Publishing House in 1990. The image depicts an imaginative scene involving three struggling, anonymous human figures; one is trapped inside a giant bottle, one is plummeting headfirst toward the ground, and one is being dumped upon by a giant planet earth being controlled by a mechanical contraption. The print is numbered 331 in an edition of 500 in pencil to the lower left margin, float-mounted on black mat, protected under acrylic glass in a cast composite frame with a distressed gilt finish. Additional information about the print is attached to the verso.
