Keith Haring Limited Edition Print from the 1990 Publication "Against All Odds: 20 Drawings - Oct. 3 1989"

Item Details

A limited edition offset lithograph bookplate on acid-free Rivoli paper after the original 1989 gouache and black ink drawing by very well-listed American street artist and social activist Keith Haring (1958 – 1990) for his publication titled Against All Odds: 20 Drawings – Oct. 3 1989, published with the collaboration of major art collectors Mera and Donald Rubell by Bébert Publishing House in 1990. The image depicts an imaginative scene involving a group of anonymous figures drowning in a speckled sea, as a giant foot and planet earth open their mouths and blow heavy winds onto the struggling humans. The print is numbered 428 in an edition of 500 in pencil to the lower left margin, float-mounted on black mat, protected under acrylic glass in a cast composite frame with a distressed gilt finish. Additional information about the print is attached to the verso.
