Globe-Wernicke Sectional Barrister Bookcase

Item Details

A vintage barrister’s bookcase by Globe Wernicke. The oak bookcase has glass hinged doors at the front of each shelf, which slide inwards when opened. There are three modular shelf units with a top cap and raised base. Each unit is separated by a trim border, and joined by metal banding on the sides. Bookcase retains original Globe-Wernicke labels to the interior and designate this as a ‘Standard D-12 1/2 unit – Pattern 112 = Grade 299 1/2’.
