Item Details
A collection of thirty-nine hand-painted Pysanka eggs. This collection is hand painted on real egg shells and includes several with intricate geometric designs. It also includes several eggs with floral and paisley designs. One egg is dated ‘3/15/80’. The eggs show the traditional Eastern European tradition of meticulously hand-painting Easter eggs with traditional symbolic motifs, using special tools and melted beeswax in layers of color.
