Victor Vasarely Serigraph Reproduction "Banya"

A serigraph reproduction after the original 1964 gouache painting by well-listed Hungarian Op artist Victor Vasarely (1906 – 1997), titled, Banya. The image depicts an optically dizzying yet brilliant arrangement of diamonds, colored with subtly varied shades of red, levitating above a checkered field of dark and light green. Artist signature is printed in screen to the bottom corner. The print is mounted behind a berry-colored mat, under glass in a silver tone metal frame. Vasarely was often referred to as the “Father of the Op-Art Movement,” and his remains some of the most recognizable from the mid-20th century.

- print is not centered within mat. Glass and print are not mounted securely within frame.
