Herbert Fink "The Back Shore" Signed Limited Etching
Item Details
A signed limited edition etching titled, The Back Shore circa 1976, by American artist and former Yale educator, Herbert Fink (1921-2006), whose lifelong teaching and artistic careers have earn him numerous awards for his many accomplishments. Fink’s drawings and etching are also featured in various museums, exhibitions, private and corporate collections all around the world. This etching depicts a very intricate grouping of rocks that are all piled very closely together, creating a large mound, in shades of brown on a beige background. This piece is pencil signed and dated by the artist in the lower right margin and is numbered 12 out of an edition of 100 to the lower left, along with the title as well. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
Condition
Minor scratches to plexiglass and frame.
