Item Details

A WPA era oil painting on board of an industrial machinist. Unframed and unsigned, with William Kaeser attribution in pen verso. From Indianapolis, William Kaeser was a figurative artist who exhibited at the Hoosier Salon, and World’s Fair in New York, and at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in the 1930s and 1940s. He was also a painter for the WPA, Works Progress Administration.

Condition

There are some signs of wear to the edges.
