Indian Brass Lidded Vessel

A brass lidded vessel produced in India. This piece has a domed, hinged lid with a hastate finial. It has a tall, narrow neck and a bulbous base, with a thin strip handle joined to the top of the neck and the middle of the body. It is decorated with etched floral and foliate designs, which are accented with red, orange, and green paint.
