Pair of Antique Post Hole Diggers
Item Details
A pair of antique or vintage post hole diggers. The tools have wooden handles attached through metal fittings at the top of iron handles, and have iron blades at the bottoms, designed to dig post holes. One is marked ‘Western’ to the metal handle fitting, along with a series of numbers. The other has numbers to the fitting, but no maker’s marks.
Condition
- wood shows wear
- all metal parts are pitted and show extreme rust and oxidation
