Antique Cast Iron Coffee Grinder

Item Details

An 1898 ‘Enterprise Mfg. Co. No. 18’ cast iron coffee grinder. This spectacular, rare, floor-standing coffee mill or grinder is made of cast iron, with large, ornate wheels to the sides, and is marked ‘Enterprise Mfg. Co. Philadelphia U.S.A.’ to the wheels. The hopper is made of brass or copper, and sits on an ornate cast iron base, which has a shelf that holds a metal receptacle, which has a handle on the end. An ornate, cast brass plate is affixed to the column, and is marked ‘No. 18’. Please note, this heavy item is located in a basement, and buyer will need to bring it up a flight of stairs to remove.
