An remarkable antique wood baby carriage. The carriage cradle is made of wrapped rattan set on a wood frame, and has delicate metal wheels. The piece features a springing mechanism as part of the handle and frame that would have absorbed impact while walking a baby. The headboard would have been upholstered and padded.
