Vintage Horse-Drawn "Tumble Bug" Dirt Scraper

Item Details

A vintage horse-drawn ‘tumble bug’ dirt scraper. The mechanism is designed to be pulled along behind a horse, as it scrapes dirt into a uniform swath. As the mechanism is dragged along, dirt accumulates in the hopper, which is attached to a rope. When the rope is pulled, the hopper spins in its frame and dumps the dirt in the desired location.
