A pair of finely carved oak bookends with galvanized tin stands, appearing later, attributed to the work of William H. Fry, Cincinnati, Ohio. Unmarked, but descended in the consignor’s relations, of the Fry family. Each retains a rich color and patina. Circa 1900.
