1897 Rookwood Pottery Signed Ewer - Carl Schmidt
Item Details
A 1897 Rookwood Pottery standard glazed ewer, by artist Carl Schmidt. This ewer features warm yellow poppies, with undertones of dark brown, green, and medium/rust brown. The lip is ruffled, with a curved handle. The base is marked with a R symbol, with a total of eleven flames, a style number 738C with a diamond shape, and signed with artist scrolled CS. Crazing is present.
