Lacquered Chinese Trunk
Item Details
A lacquered Chinese trunk. The wooden rectangular trunk is covered in red and black colored lacquer. The front of the has a metal locking latch and the Chinese characters for ‘good fortune’ (福 fu) and ‘longevity’ (壽 shou). The interior has peeling red paper. The trunk is unmarked.
Condition
Item has wear consistent with age and use. Interior paper is peeling.
