A vintage Free-Westinghouse portable electric sewing machine. The machine is model ALB, Type E. It was made by the Free Sewing Machine Company but called Free-Westinghouse because all these machines exclusively used Westinghouse motors. It has friction drive, straight stitch with reverse, single plug-in, a hand wheel that turns clockwise and many more attributes. The case is covered with faux wood paper.
