A signed poster by John Pils, captioned Reflections of St. Louis. The offset lithograph poster after a black-and-white drawing depicts the St. Louis skyline, including the Old Courthouse centered under the Gateway Arch, reflected in the Mississippi River. A hot air balloon above the city is hand-tinted in rainbow watercolors. The lower right corner is signed in plate ‘Pils ’82,’ and the piece is hand-signed ‘Pils’ and inscribed ‘To: Sam from Babbette Christmas 1986; Pils St. Louis.’ The poster is presented under glass in a silver tone frame with a hanging wire.
