Antique Elgin Gold-Filled Open Face Pocket Watch

Item Details

An antique yellow gold filled case, open face pocket watch by Elgin, model 5 and grade 317, circa 1907. The case is plain with no added decoration. The dial is porcelain with black and red Arabic numerals, blue tinted black hands, and a subsidiary seconds dial at the sixth-hour position. It is marked “Elgin” to the dial, and “Keystone Watch Case, Guaranteed 20 Years J. Boss, 5588105” to the inside of the back case. The movement is a size 18 and has 15 jewels with serial number “12966582”. This pocket watch is currently running; however, it is not guaranteed.
