An antique F. Kroeber Clock Co. ‘Bothnia’ cast iron mantel clock. It features a white porcelain chapter ring with black Roman numerals, and a recessed inner circle with black minute and hour hands, as well as visible brass tone gears. The face is lined with cast brass floral trim and protected by a tightly fitting beveled glass door. The inner clock works are set in a robust, black, rectangular cast iron housing with architectural elements and linear floral engravings. Cast silver tone lions with circular brass tone bits adorn the shoulders. A thin, circular brass tone door swivels open on the back to reveal the weight-driven clock works within. Comes with a winding key.

Condition

- untested. Wear and scratches consistent with use; porcelain face is cracked and chipped. Some cosmetic rust and wear to paint. Weight is not connected.
