Item Details
A pair of early household ledger books. This set includes a three-quarter leather-bound ledger from the early 20th century and an unbound ledger from the late 19th century. Both ledgers are heavily marked in cursive writing using ink and pencil, listing household expenses with their dates.
Condition
- pages are highly discolored and stained; edges are very worn and torn; one ledger has no cover and the edges are bent; the bound ledger has broken hinges and binding, leather is tattered and peeling, and cover is marked and stained.
