Anne of Brittany Armorial Pewter Plate
Item Details
A vintage decorative plate with the armorial bearings of Anne of Brittany. The rim of the plate is decorated with a repeated stamped design. The inner portion features the motto Foedari Potius Mori Quam (I prefer to die rather than to be dishonored; death before dishonor) on a banner with two coronets and an ermine.
Condition
Plate is bent on one side. Wear is consistent with age and use.
