This sculpture depicts a man with lantern in hand wrangling an anxious, saddled horse as a man in a three-point hat and Revolutionary War style garb prepares to mount. The figures are set on a pewter base, which is mounted on an oval wood base. Marked in pewter, ‘1372 Philip Kraczkowski. Pewter’ and ‘Call to Freedom.’
