Vintage Ammunition Wood Crate

A vintage wood ammunition crate. The crate has rope handles to each side and metal latches that would hold a lid in place. One side of the crate states ’ From- C.O. Seneca, O.D. Kendaia, N.Y.’ in the top corner and underneath that is ‘To-Transp-Off AAF Material Com. Wright Field Wright/Greene County/Ohio Auth. SP of A-B75464-4 Pkg. No. 37/70’. The other side reads ’ Riada 120 Ctg’s Ball 20 mm. Guns MI AN-M2 and BR.HS. |A| 97 Lbs. 145 Cu Ft. KOP 25-20 Loaded 3-44 Lot’. The handled sides both read ‘Ball 120 Ctg’s 20MM. KOP 25-20 Lot Riada’ and has a bomb symbol. The bottom reads ‘Western Pine Mfg. Co Spokane Wash. Month 7-Year 1943’.
