Vintage "Magnificent Magnavox" Cabinet Stereo with speaker

Item Details

A vintage ‘Magnificent Magnavox’ stereo cabinet. The stereo cabinet is made of brown wood with laminated wood to the lid, sides and legs. A gold-tone expanded metal screen covers the fabric over the speaker on the front of the cabinet. The top has a sliding lid that reveals a record player and other controls. The radio control panel is marked ‘Magnificent Magnavox – High-Fidelity’. The record player compartment is labeled ‘Stereophonic High Fidelity with Long Life Diamond Stylus’. Included is a clear plastic box that contains an extra phonograph needle, marked ‘Silvertone No. 5716-D’. Included with the turntable unit is a matching companion unit that has a speaker, and a sliding top compartment that can hold records.
