An original oil painting on board depicting a person shepherding sheep through a winter scene. This unattributed work contains loose strokes of ochre against a grey, dry brushed background, giving the appearance of a foggy evening. It is presented in a gold tone wooden frame adorned with an anthemion design, which is scalloped at its interior edges. It includes a wire and is ready for hanging.
