A pencil signed limited edition offset lithograph by beloved and well-listed wildlife artist John A. Ruthven (born 1924) titled Red Fox. This print depicts a sly red fox, leaping effortlessly over fallen trees in its snowy landscape. Numbered 303/1000 in pencil to lower left, this work is also signed in plate as well as in pencil to lower right. The print is mounted beneath dual layers of coordinating mats and is presented behind non-glare glass in a rough, natural wooden frame with dark finish. Hanging wire as well as folio containing original lining that accompanied print to verso.
