An original oil painting on board by artist George A. Mock (1886-1958) titled House on a Bend. This warm work captures a small path winding by a white house in the middle of a bright summer day. The pathway is flanked by overgrowth, with a small cluster of large trees jutting out from its shoulder. Signed in paint to lower left, this work is mounted beneath a linen liner and is presented in an ornate, gilt, seamless cast gesso frame. Hanging wire present to verso.
