Item Details

A pair of early 20th century Italian carved wood, architectural trade-sign elements, each having original polychromed decoration. One depicts St. George slaying a dragon, ‘Viva S. Giorgio’; the other of two men in battle, ‘Dronde Uccide Scendibaudi’. Both have upper holes, indicating they suspended from a trade sign.
