Arnold Franz Brasz Original Watercolor
Item Details
An original watercolor painting on paper by listed American artist Arnold Franz Brasz (Wisconsin/California, 1888 – 1966). The playful painting depicts a procession of Colonial figures racing to butcher a large goose. A man at the front of the line proudly holds the massive bird in his arms, and the figure in the back carries a large ax. The figures are set against a simple empty background, other than a small farm that sits in the distance. The painting is signed in ink to the lower left corner. It is presented behind glass in an angled wooden frame with a hanging wire. More information about the artist can be found below under Additional Information.
Condition
