Circa 1950s Rosenthal Coffee Service
Item Details
A Rosenthal coffee service, circa 1950s. The set includes a coffeepot, creamer and sugar bowl, five cups, saucers and desert plates, plus an extra saucer. The coffeepot and creamer have an iconic mid century ‘nipped waist’ style, and the cups are conical in shape. The pieces are white porcelain with a thin silver line on the plate rims and pearlized blue on the outside of the cups and creamer and the lids to the coffeepot and sugar bowl. The pieces are marked ‘Rosenthal Selb-Germany’ to the underside.
