A Civil War Era Colt 1851 .36 caliber black powder Navy Revolver. Marked to the frame, trigger guard, butt and barrel with the same serial # 137311. Marked to the cylinder ‘Patent 7311 Sept. 10th 1850’ and features engraved details that are worn enough that it could be a ship but the scene is not clear enough to determine. Impressed ‘CME’ to the wooden grip. Further markings to the top of the barrel are ‘Address Col. SamL Colt New York US America’.
