The collection features The National Geographic Magazine Historical Map of the Conterminous United States c.1967 housed behind glass in a simple wood frame; The Official Map of the United States – 1939 by the US Department of the Interior, which has a single beige mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a gilded metal frame; the county map of Kentucky and Tennessee c.1867, which has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a wood veneer frame; and The Retreat of the Confederate Army from Richmond and Petersburg and its Capture by U.S. Forces under Lt. Gen. U.S. Grant, which has a single juniper green mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple light wood frame. All framed maps have a wire for hanging to the verso.

Condition

Minor scratches to plexiglass and frame.
