Paul Sawyier Offset Lithograph "Bend in the River"

An offset lithograph after an original watercolor painting by well-listed American Impressionist Paul Sawyier (1865-1917), titled Bend in the River. This landscape features a view of a river in Kentucky, with a forest of trees lining the bend and silhouetted against the sky. The artist’s in-plate signature is included to the lower left. A certificate of authentication, dated 1974, from the Paul Sawyier Galleries, Inc. is affixed to the verso, stating that the work is a limited edition print, numbered 288 out of 2000. Additional information about the original painting, the print, and the artist are included in the certificate. The print is displayed under glass and is double matted with off-white and green mats. Displayed in a gold-tone wood frame, it is ready to hang with picture wire to the verso.

- some wear to the frame; scratches, chips, and discoloration in frame; frame corners are separating; minor stains and rips in paper backing.
