Sterling Salt Shakers and Swedish 830 Silver Spoon
Item Details
A collection of sterling salt shakers and a Swedish 830 silver spoon. The spoon features the maker’s mark for Carl Gustaf Högstedt and appears to have the town mark for Kalmar along with the date mark for 1841. It is engraved on the handle with the initials ‘C.N.D.’ and weighs approximately 1.635 ozt. Also included is a pair of salt and pepper shakers. These pieces were produced by the Duchin Creation company, founded in 1944. The shakers are marked on the underside ‘Sterling, Duchin Creation, Weighted’.
