Hand-Tufted Ghiordes Style Prayer Rug
Item Details
A hand-tufted wool prayer rug featuring a Ghiordes style. It features an arched mirhab prayer niche with a hanging chandelier, two decorative columns to either side, and a vase form at the base adorning it. Additional decorations are boteh and palmettes, with a wide herati border. It has overcast edges and a backing, with bound edges to the underside. There is no mark to indicate a manufacturer.
